Things I’ve been loving

I wanted to share all the things I have been enjoying recently including: skincare, wellness, and mental health. I have been using all these products for that last couple weeks and I can already feel a difference in how my mood is. I don’t mean to sound dramatic, but the little things that I do for my body makes me feel good. Let’s get started!

  • Olipop /Poppi drinks

I discovered Poppi sodas first and then I discovered the Olipop ones. They are probiotic sodas. I was never a soda drinker but I do love anything carbonated. I found the Olipop sodas at Wegmans and then I found them at Target. I like the way they make me feel, while also having a great taste. Kombucha has probiotics as well but you can really taste the weird taste. These do not have that strong Kombucha flavor.

Strawberry Vanilla: $2.49 (Target)

Poppi: $2.49 (Target)

Olipop Website: Visit Olipop — a case of 12 is $35.99 or you can subscribe for bi-weekly deliveries for $30.59 (save 15%)

  • Body scrubs / body lotions

These are be found at Target and Ulta, but there are more options at Ulta. They are all Tree Hut products, which I am a big fan. The body scrubs I use like 2x a week and the body butter I used everyday especially on days that I exfoliate or shave. Must try, you won’t be disappointed.

ALL Tree Hut Sugar Scrubs: $10.49

ALL Tree Hut Shea Body Butter: $10.49

  • Melatonin patches

This are by far my favorite melatonin products. I used to always take the OLLY gummies and I also tried the Extra Sleepy OLLY gummies as well. These patches I found at target and I have been loving them. They help me sleep throughout the night and my boyfriend snores, so it’s also plus that it keeps my asleep the whole night. No more getting up in the middle of night and disrupting my sleep cycle. Based on only using these for about 4 times, I would say to use them like an hour prior to going to sleep. It might take different people a shorter or longer time to feel the affects.

The Good Patch La Mend Plant Based Dream Sleep Aid Patch (4-ct): $11.99

  • Boar bristle brushes

I remember using this types of bristle brushes when I was younger when my mom was doing my hair. I always found that the boar bristles hurt my scalp, but now that I am older I have found why they were so good. They are PERFECT for when you want to do a sleek bun or ponytail. They also leave your hair shiny and smooth because the brush I got specifically is infused with coconut oil.

I have heard all the rave about Olaplex products and I didn’t want to believe it because then I would spend more money. But I was Ulta one day and I just decided to try it. Creators that I follow who rave about this product are not lying. I use it between my shampoo and conditioner while exfoliating/shaving, because you’re supposed to leave it in for at least 10 mins. It really does make a difference in the texture of my hair. I find that it’s not as frizzy and it stays clean for longer, which mean not having to wash my hair as often. I am ALL for that! Washing your hair everyday is not good anyway, and growing up I was a competitive swimmer and I washing my hair sometimes 2x a day. No one told me that washing it that often was damaging my hair.

Wet Brush Go Green Coconut Oil Infused Hair Brush: $14.99

Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfecter: $28

  • Waterfall showerhead

I have these everywhere so for long! When I went to my sister’s house in the summer, their guest bathroom had a waterfall showerhead and it was game changer. Some people take a shower just to take a shower, but I like to enjoy every minute of mine. I prefer to have a good pressure because it makes rinsing out products quicker and also it just feels like you’re getting massage too. The water pressure on this showerhead is soo good! I got it from Amazon, and my boyfriend installed it, with no problem. I know for this one they offer 10 inches and 8 inches, but our shower is not super spacious, so we went with the 8in one.

NearMoon 8 in Rain Showerhead: $24.99
