As a college student it’s hard to eat healthy especially when you only have so much money to spend. It’s so easy to give up and go the dining hall because it’s more convenient, but at the end of the day you still don’t know what’s going into your food. If you make your own meals at home, you can have better portion control, and you can customize almost anything to your liking. So a good breakfast for someone that doesn’t have much time to eat, but still wants a substantial breakfast is eggs with Ezekiel bread. My favorite is the cinnamon raisin Ezekiel break from Trader Joe’s, but you can essentially get them at most organic supermarkets. I also really like to have boiled eggs, because they are easy to make and there’s not much that goes into them. Unlike scrambled eggs, boiled eggs are definitely higher in nutrients and usually have less fat because there’s no extra oils and fats being added in. Try it, and let me know how it goes!
